Back to Assateague Island for the 2nd time, to enjoy the beauty of the beach at sunset. At the time of deserted beaches, visitors only a few people, including me and my husband. Beach atmosphere that reflects light from the sunset gives the golden color to the sand and surf. It give a lot of inspiration to paint.
At that time, I saw a Golden Lab dog walking alone on the coast, and sometimes watching the waves from the place of he was standing. The scenery inspired me to record it. In the middle of painting I decided to add a little girl with the dog.
I am watercolor artist . I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a degree in Architecture, specializing in interior decorating. After moving to the USA I took up watercolor painting and paints full time. I live in Sayre, PA with my husband. I had tried many mediums, but I love working in watercolor because the brushstroke, the water and the color flowing on the paper creates exciting painting. As you may notice, I frequently use color to give my images a certain novel liveliness that attract the eye and gives the work its own place of prominence outside and apart from the subject of the work.
