This is Balinese Children in traditional clothing. They always wear traditional clothing when have Hindu Ceremony. Usually for the top for the boys wear white color, and sarong for the bottom. And the girls wear "Kebaya" ( combination blouse-dress with sarong )
About Melly Terpening
I am watercolor artist . I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a degree in Architecture, specializing in interior decorating. After moving to the USA I took up watercolor painting and paints full time. I live in Sayre, PA with my husband. I had tried many mediums, but I love working in watercolor because the brushstroke, the water and the color flowing on the paper creates exciting painting. As you may notice, I frequently use color to give my images a certain novel liveliness that attract the eye and gives the work its own place of prominence outside and apart from the subject of the work.
