Memory of returned back to Bali in 2011, just spent several days in Pacung Village. The location is in high elevation so feel a little bit cool around this area. The view are beautiful, lots of ricefield and vegetables garden. And while hiking, we ( my husband and I ) met the farmer family who were working harvest vegetables They live in that small house with 2 boys. I took couple pictures while they were working. The big boys help them after came back from school. And the youngest, just playing and watching the parent. At that time, I have nice conversation with them. I told them, I am an artist and would like to paint them. They just happy to hear that, and offering me some vegetables that they just harvest. We are so thankfull for that nice offering. But we can't take it, because we have to continue our plan to hiking. So we said good bye to them and they also continue working harvest the vegetables. I hope will meet them again in the future.
I am watercolor artist . I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a degree in Architecture, specializing in interior decorating. After moving to the USA I took up watercolor painting and paints full time. I live in Sayre, PA with my husband. I had tried many mediums, but I love working in watercolor because the brushstroke, the water and the color flowing on the paper creates exciting painting. As you may notice, I frequently use color to give my images a certain novel liveliness that attract the eye and gives the work its own place of prominence outside and apart from the subject of the work.
