" A Day In A Life "
Mid of May 2015, I read an article on Indonesia Online News about Desa Adat Penglipuran Bangli, Bali ( Traditional Village Penglipuran, Bangli, Bali - Indonesia ), and I saw the photograph of old woman who sitting on the step. This Old woman photo so attract me and I really would love to painting her.
I found out the photographer's name is Barry Kusuma ( alambudaya.com). Then I email him, asked permission if I be permitted to use his photograph for painting. And he allowed it.
In progress of the painting, I added umbrella and decorative display to give essence of Bali.

I am watercolor artist . I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a degree in Architecture, specializing in interior decorating. After moving to the USA I took up watercolor painting and paints full time. I live in Sayre, PA with my husband. I had tried many mediums, but I love working in watercolor because the brushstroke, the water and the color flowing on the paper creates exciting painting. As you may notice, I frequently use color to give my images a certain novel liveliness that attract the eye and gives the work its own place of prominence outside and apart from the subject of the work.
