I love painting the lights.
In this painting, I would like to represent a very important symbol of father (doesn't intend to reduce the role of mother) to the kids, who give courage and protection.
And lantern as a symbol of lights to the children to walk in the right direction.

I am watercolor artist . I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a degree in Architecture, specializing in interior decorating. After moving to the USA I took up watercolor painting and paints full time. I live in Sayre, PA with my husband. I had tried many mediums, but I love working in watercolor because the brushstroke, the water and the color flowing on the paper creates exciting painting. As you may notice, I frequently use color to give my images a certain novel liveliness that attract the eye and gives the work its own place of prominence outside and apart from the subject of the work.
