This painting was inspired by ricefield in Bali Indonesia. I and my husband were on the way to Ubud. We saw lots of ricefield view which very impressive to us. So I create the ricefield paintings with the spectacular sunset. The reflection of the sky and the tree are interesting to be enjoyed. This is my painting in 2010. And this painting is my husband favorite painting.
I am watercolor artist . I was born in Jakarta, Indonesia. I have a degree in Architecture, specializing in interior decorating. After moving to the USA I took up watercolor painting and paints full time. I live in Sayre, PA with my husband. I had tried many mediums, but I love working in watercolor because the brushstroke, the water and the color flowing on the paper creates exciting painting. As you may notice, I frequently use color to give my images a certain novel liveliness that attract the eye and gives the work its own place of prominence outside and apart from the subject of the work.
